100% wool kimono from Japan (1930s-1960s). This kimono has a personal history, once worn and cherished within Sara's family and repurposed into a unique garment. The original kimono seams are preserved, honoring the garment's history and craftsmanship and hand-mending throughout. Cropped, boxy fit, front chest pocket, side slit, a high-low hem, corozzo buttons. Each garment is cut individually by hand. One of a kind.
