Flower Accessories

I've been making these flowers from the smallest pieces of silk I have left over.

I cut and stitch each one by hand from vintage kimono textiles and other reclaimed silk. No two are exactly alike.

Studio Commissions

I work with existing garments, inherited textiles, and personal materials that have meaning to you.

Through hand-stitching, repair, and embellishment, I rework these pieces while keeping their original character and history intact.

Considered Objects is my ongoing textile practice based in New York City.

I work with vintage and antique silk kimonos, reclaimed textiles, and existing garments to make one-of-one clothing, accessories, and textile works.

My work is made slowly and by hand. I'm interested in what happens when we look at something familiar again. An old textile, a scrap, or a garment that might otherwise be discarded can become something worth keeping.
