100% silk kimono and silk haori 羽織 (a traditional Japanese jacket worn over a kimono originally designed for samurai as a practical outer layer for warmth and protection), textile lining dating back to the early 20th century. The original kimono seams are preserved, honoring the garment's history and craftsmanship with unique patterns and hand-painted techniques that have stood the test of time.
Unisex, relaxed fit with a structured, crisp feel while maintaining the fluidity of silk. Hand-applied top silk thread stitching. Shell buttons, 1930s-1960s. Raw edge detailing throughout. Each garment is cut individually by hand. One of a kind.
